17. Empty for almost thirty years, this former roller rink is now one of the premier live music venues in the Southeast. Madaras Design Ltd. worked in collaboration with renowned set designer Dave Kelsey and veteran New Orleans club owners Jack and Lesley Groetsch to create the Orange Peel Social Aid and Pleasure Club. Careful attention to design created a magnificent space that works for musicians, music lovers and club staff. Pictured is the stage, merchandising area (right) and bar (left).
